My blog is still here, but it disappeared for a few days due to bloggers spam seeking program. Don't quite understand what is going on. I created a 2007 blog because this blog was getting to hard to publish due to size and I guess they shut it down since I haven't made any new entries to it--who knows.

Who Is This?

"Aaaa" with thumbs up in the air,
Black plastic motorcycle,
Black leather jacket,
"McDaa ma-0 mc-daa",
Diaper off peeing into dads Klipsch speaker,
Big Bird Big Bird Sesame Street,
The three pigs and big bad wolf,
Kindercare,
Toilet training raisins packed in cheeks,
Mowers throw rock and cuts his forehead,
Mom tears Kindercare from one end to the other,
Trick or Treat "O what a cute little boy",
Let's go to the next house son,
"But she didn't give me nothing",
Reading to himself at four,
Doing multiplication and division by five,
First grade,
Delaware,
"We want to put him in special ed because of his southern accent",
Needs a speech teacher only supplied through special ed,
Over my dead body,
Second grade,
Savannah,
"He just won't do the coloring pages I give him",
Teacher takes out a huge wad of uncolored pages,
Not when he can draw and color his own,
Very artistic,
Bored at school,
School a constant stuggle,
Wished I knew how to challenge him,
Sixth grade,
"We need to speak to you Mrs. Shroyer",
Another damn teacher conference,
Telling me what a bad parent I am,
"He has made 99 percentile of nation on test in math",
Want to enroll him in summer program at Duke University,
I chose wrong, should have found the money, and made him go,
Didn't really want to spend his summer in school,
Wintertime goes to visit Mama-O in Arkansas,
Aunt Sandra takes him for a walk,
One block away a park with frozen pond,
Just wanted to see if the ice would hold me,
Teeth chattering, Aunt Sandra shaking from the experience,
Red tennis shoes, wild print shorts, buzz cut,
Eyore attitude,
Guitar hard rock player,
Ear shattering concerts with dad,
Knowing what tests he had to pass to get a C,
To keep mom off his back,
Mom holding daughter in chair between windows in living room,
Window shatters,
Stick sails in,
Just wanted to throw it over the roof,
Mad at prissy Laura next door,
Take him to the old bridge to crab,
Black man over side stuck in thick marsh mud,
Comments look what they threw over for bait,
Bad timing for comment,
In the minority on the bridge,
Rides the bus,
Kids torch the bus his leg is burned,
Has to tell principal what he saw,
Kids get expelled,
Takes the station wagon for a spin one day,
Kids in neighborhood banging on my door,
He just took off in the car,
He said boys came up to beat him up,
Found out later he just wanted to drive the car,
J Michael comes to spend the night,
Hey what did you get in so in so,
You said the report cards haven't come yet,
Opps made its way to the gutter somehow,
J Michael goes home,
Starts private school,
Seems happier,
Doing better in classes,
Goes to dance,
Senior cool chick asks him to dance,
Great fun at Halloween spook house,
Plays football,
Hates it,
Too physical,
Move to Ohio,
Pork queen wants to do him,
Note found in pocket of jeans,
School tells them most won't go to college,
VoTech day he chooses meat packing plant,
Watches a cow being killed,
Grades begin to improve,
Moves to Tennessee,
There only a semester,
Last year of High School,
San Antonio,
Doing great in school,
Seems happy, but always hard to tell,
Has a friend called Big Jim, dads a biker,
Has a cute girl at school that gives him her phone number,
Becomes a nurse later in life,
Works at Walgreens,
Goes to prom,
His date turns out to be phsyco,
Falls for a redhead,
Time to move again,
Arkansas,
Throws him into a deep funk,
Doesn't know what he wants,
Mom knows it is getting close to moving time again,
Knows he needs stability, and family around,
Takes him to Tennessee to live with Mama-O,
They have a good school there that will interest him,
It did,
He found his niche,
He found friends to keep,
No more moving,
He found how to apply his natural talents,
He has worked hard to get where he is at,
He has a CAREER not just a job,
Everyone is very proud of him,
His siblings look up to him as a big brother,
He's still a hard rocker,
Very creative,
And listens to his own drummer,
He lives life as he chooses to.
I Do It Myself

Born in Little Rock, Arkansas,
Channel 4 has campaign going on,
People hold up 4 fingers to say that's the station they watch,
Jason comes out wanting channel 4,
Three weeks late,
Induce labor,
Enormous baby,
Ten and a half pounds,
Twenty four inches long,
No baby wrap big enough,
Only one day in hospital,
Take him home,
Half grown already,
Formula can and a half a day,
Sleeps all night at 7 days,
Cereal at two weeks,
Cookie monster,
Cooookie,
No bed holds him,
Climbs like a monkey,
Rips diapers off,
As fast as I can put on,
Naked as a jay-bird,
Mama-O's nickname,
Loves his round walker,
Follows Jon everywhere,
Watches his brother's every move,
Learns to talk at late age,
He screeches,
Brother Jon interprets,
His favorite and only food rice cereal,
No veggies,
Finished eating in high chair,
He throws plate,
Suction cup plate bought,
He turns purple ripping up plate,
He is very strong,
He screeches,
Jon interprets,
Learns new trick,
How to rip top off high chair,
Sails food and top across room,
He screeches,
Jon interprets,
Tell Jon he must learn to talk,
First word not da-da,
But a whole sentence,
I want my ba-ba,
Jon says I suppose you understood that,
Yep no more screeching,
His favorite thing to say to me,
I do it myself,
Try to help him dress, eat etc,
I do it myself,
Living in Delaware,
Poor Kentucky kids down the street,
Six of them,
Little girls and boys come in and play,
Jason adores them,
Jon likes to play with them,
Find out no heat in their house,
They spend a lot of time at our house,
Peanut butter and jelly for everyone,
Jason's first birthday everyone there waiting for cake,
At nine months takes out across floor dancing,
Never even walked before,
Leon Redbone, "Hand Me Down My Walking Cane",
Playing on stereo,
Mom and Dad shocked,
Rock-a-bye baby his favorite,
Gets very emotional,
Cries baby fall, baby fall,
Begs for the song again,
Again, again, and again,
Moved to townhome in Delaware,
Met Jake and Jackie,
They are at our house alot,
Hyman and Jackie Farbman their parents,
Night before his first Easter,
We all dyed eggs,
Next morning parents have 103 temp,
Flu,
Jon is in charge of hiding eggs,
Much giggling,
Taking care of his brother,
Thank God Jon in charge,
We all survive with his help,
Moved to Savannah at age 2,
Live in a cul-de-sac with fifteen kids,
He always wants to go outside and play,
One day, time to eat, can't find him,
Panic,
He had climbed up on chair and unbolted chain lock,
I do it myself,
Ran from house to house searching for him,
All the kids in neighborhood searching,
Laura finally says found him,
He was asleep in their messy garage,
When he finally gets to play outside,
He won't keep his clothes on,
He loves displaying himself to the little girls,
Mrs. Shroyer Jason is naked again,
Mrs. Shroyer Jason is peeing outside again,
He grows older,
Kids busy all day long with friends,
Jason with Little Richard,
Jon with Laura, and Scotty,
And "Jarred",
Who later turned out to be Jared,
And of course later, J Michael,
He and Little Richard always up to something,
Mom gets a job and he goes to Kindercare,
Falls head over heels for Katie,
Gets a little sister,
Says things were just fine with just him and Jon,
Spends his days making her screech,
Second grade his teacher rides him,
Tells me she can;t handle him,
I know from her body language and attitude it's something else,
Go home and think about it,
I call a conference with Principal and teacher,
I bait the teacher to get her to disclose her bigotry,
She basically doesn't like boy children,
Especially little white boy children,
I watch the principals face,
Horror stricken,
I request removal from her class,
He then has a new teacher,
Old teacher out the door by semester,
No body messes with Mama Bears cubs,
We move to Washington Court House, Ohio,
There only six months,
He and Jon spend time eating pizza, playing video games,
He has a pet named Butterscotch,
A cat from Wal-Mart parking lot,
Butterscotch turns out to be male not female,
Name changed to Butter,
Meets Levi next door,
From Wyoming,
They get walkie talkies and talk through the wall of the townhouse,
Moved again to Soddy-Daisy,
Stayed there for 8 months,
Mom worked to take care of family,
Not the mommie fails to be at home one day,
He and kid sister locked out in brutal lightening storm,
He protects his sister,
Move again to San Antonio for two years,
Goes out for basketball,
Only to discover other boys bussed in from juvie hall,
End of basketball career,
Hangs out with twin guys next door,
Hates middle school,
Ruff kids, huge school,
Nurse calls at least twice a week to come get him,
She says he has temperature,
I finally buy a new thermometer, No temp,
She calls, I take new thermometer with me,
She takes his temp, I take his temp,
We do this with a few more kids,
Her thermometer screwed up,
Trips home stopped,
One day a teacher he dislikes,
Makes him get down on his knees,
If his shorts don't touch the ground,
Then they are too short,
I measure when he comes home,
One half an inch too short,
She makes him wear pink girls jogging pants all day,
I go to school have a "word" with her in front of principal,
Tell her if she has a problem she calls me,
She will NEVER humilate my son like that again,
Unless she was begging for a law suit,
Move to Jacksonville, Arkansas,
He gets a mo-ped,
Has a best friend named Jason,
He is an army brat,
Wild as the wind,
We lived here only one year,
Move to Wichita, KS,
Here he spends his high school years,
Goes to the oldest school in town for two years,
Tells me horror stories of the other kids in school,
Tries to hang with the wrong crowd,
I know they are leading him down the wrong path,
Mama Bear keeps tight leash on him,
He hates her for it,
Lets his dad purchase old car for him to fix up,
Keep him busy with dad on old car,
No time to run with the bad ones,
Car becomes known as the watermelon car,
Needs new interior,
Only interior in junk yard they find is red,
Car is dark green,
Dad and he make sun roof, loud pipes, etc,
He meets Daniel,
We finally buy a house and move to better school,
His lung collaspes right before we move,
Spend two weeks in hospital trying to fix it,
Try to keep dad away from doctors and nurses because of temper,
Don't want Jason stressed,
Turns out too many doctors in the kitchen,
Teaching hospital,
After colossal screw up by nurse, turned the "Pit Bull" loose,
Move him to private room per doctor,
No doctor in room unless it is him,
Forty eight hours later he was doing better,
Goes to Maize High and meets psycho bitch,
Enough said about that one,
Works at Blockbuster Music,
Meets the love of his life,
His partner,
Moves to Springfield, Il,
Gets married and starts living his adult life,
He's all grown up now and a man,
He's still,
Doing it himself,
Only now he has Andrea to hear him say,
I do it myself.
Guess Who I Am

Go to doctor feeling run down,
Doc calls back and sends me to hospital,
After a lot of testing,
He determines I'm about 2 weeks pregnant,
Great,
Have a dream,
Voice tells me I'm going to have a girl,
I will name her Jessica,
Call sister to tell her about dream,
She instead tells me about a dream WT had,
I'm going to have a girl and name her Jessica,
Weird,
Belly grows,
Dad calls her name by my belly,
She squirms and moves from one side to the other,
She likes music,
Can almost feel her dancing,
I can tell she will suck her thumb,
Loud popping sound from belly at times,
Can almost see her sucking her thumb,
Off and on labor for 3 days,
Monday morning dads dressing for work,
I really think I need to go,
Check in at 8 am,
She arrives at 1 pm,
Doctor stuck in elevator,
Can't get to delivery,
Nurse says don't push,
Doctor will be here,
She wouldn't wait,
Nurse had to catch her,
Doctor comes in in suit,
What a mess he becomes,
Grabs her out of nurses hand,
She begins to wail, and scream,
Mad at the world,
Nurse hands her to me screaming,
I say Jessica its me,
You're ok,
I'm right here,
She stops crying and trys to look at me,
She snuggles up,
Then they take her back,
I go down at night to feed her,
In hospital longer this time,
Got spayed,
People staring in nursery,
One man says look that ones already got clevage,
Sir that's my daughter,
She's strong,
Can pick her head up and turn it over,
Take her home and her Aunt Sandra won't put her down,
Mama-O either,
Only wants to sleep,
Had her natural no drugs,
Seldom cries,
Doesn't eat much,
Hard to get her to stay awake to eat,
Mothers day take picture with her and Mama-O,
Mama-O keeps her the first year part time,
Then she is at Kindercare till 2 years old,
Takes first step at 18 months,
Have to work on her tippy-toeing,
She walks around on her toes,
Not on her feet,
Dr says work on her achilles by stretching exercises,
At 2 pulled strings and got her in Memorial,
I worked 2 blocks away,
Her brothers also at Memorial,
At age 5 she goes to kindergarden 2 months on island,
Then we moved to Washington Court House, Ohio,
Goes there until January,
Move to Soddy Daisy and finishes kindergarden,
In August move to San Antonio,
Lived there through first and second grade,
First grade teacher wonderful woman,
Second grade teacher hated the world,
Told her if I had to I would spend everyday in her class,
To find out why Jessica was so afraid of her,
Jessica not afraid of anybody,
I went to principal,
Spent days between her class and library helper,
Directly across from her room,
I was the teachers shadow for the year,
Things worked out,
Moved to Jacksonville, Arkansas,
Open school set up,
Jessica likes her teacher,
She is good and kind,
Jessica wants me to volunteer,
So I do,
I worked in library in center of school,
I taught art to 3rd and 4th graders,
I knew principal and district supervisor,
Grew up around them with my teacher mom,
No money in district for art teacher,
Worked in nurses office too,
District couldn't afford nurse,
Moved to Wichita summer before her fourth grade,
Fourth and Fifth grade lived on Memory Lane,
Did volunteer work again,
Worked with all her teachers, librarian and tutored kids,
Jessica joins band,
She plays the clarinet,
Pass the ear plugs at first,
Later it was wonderful to listen to,
Moved to Maize District,
Sixth grade I worked with handicapped kids,
At her school,
All the handicapped kids loved Jessica,
Seventh and Eighth grade was middle school,
Didn't volunteer,
Felt it was time for baby girl to fly on her own,
Ninth grade Jessica attends Maize High,
Summer before,
She has band camp at school,
Vice Principal sees me helping sick kids,
Offers the job of working in nurse's office,
I wanted to be there,
Right after Columbine,
We moved to Springfield, Il,
She's upset leaving her friends behind,
She still keeps in touch with them today,
Tenth grade I worked in Library,
Just to be sure school is safe,
As far as safe goes in any high school,
Helped get ready for the library move,
Between 10th and 11th grade they move the school,
Brand new building,
Jessica develops many friends,
Joins many activities,
Excells in everything she does,
Seems to be happy,
As happy as any teenager can be,
Mom knows one day she will leave for college,
Sad but knows she has to grow and find her own way in life,
She's still excelling,
Working hard,
Playing hard,
And still finding her way.

Kyte Kids

Ok so I stayed with Jerry and Michelle Kytes kids for almost 2 weeks while they went to Russia to adopt yet another young girl. So their life style is not mine, and I don't exactly feel they had their eyes wide open but that is their problem and I feel I probably was a facilitator but I stayed because I wasn't busy. Here are some pics of them--we went to Chuckie Cheese, to eat Italian,
gary went with them skating; to their church play, charoling , we played games, studied their bible, studied spelling words etc. etc. etc. They are home school kids so I left that up to their mom since I don't really understand the logic of this. O well to each his own! Kids names are Kaitlyn (16 going to cosmetology school so she can support herself at 18), Kristina (my favorite--a very patient, beautiful young lady), Jessica(the sugar donut lover--haha) and Alexa(who talks like the girl in American Pie--'and one time at band camp'), in that order from oldest to youngest. The first pic is only Kaitlyn, Jessica and Alexa--Kristina is the young lady with the glasses.

Oh Xmas Tree The Parents Enjoyed Receiving

Yes we went to Jon's for Xmas. We all decided to have a different slant on the season by having Feliz Navidad. I cooked a taco salad-layered dip, Jon made enchiladas, Andrea made corn sweet cake, Jessica chopped up the stuff for salsa, mixed it, and Andrea did the taste/add ingredients test, Andrea also made the Margarita Punch (wow it was good), and Jason almost burned the kitchen down. From then on we kept him out of the kitchen. It was a great Xmas with a different slant! The kids did their shopping and we put cards on the tree (because I don't shop!). Eleven dogs, one cat, six humans---now there is a manger!!
Jason and Jon spent the next two days playing Play Station 3, while I retreated to the bedroom to read and the girls went after Xmas shopping with gift cards. Gary as usual was Ebaying on the computer or sleeping sitting up.
Enjoy the pics--I will be making another blog site for 2007 but I will have a link on this one on the right side under my pic. Hope everyone had a peaceful Xmas and a Happy New Year.
