Kyte Kids

Ok so I stayed with Jerry and Michelle Kytes kids for almost 2 weeks while they went to Russia to adopt yet another young girl. So their life style is not mine, and I don't exactly feel they had their eyes wide open but that is their problem and I feel I probably was a facilitator but I stayed because I wasn't busy. Here are some pics of them--we went to Chuckie Cheese, to eat Italian,
gary went with them skating; to their church play, charoling , we played games, studied their bible, studied spelling words etc. etc. etc. They are home school kids so I left that up to their mom since I don't really understand the logic of this. O well to each his own! Kids names are Kaitlyn (16 going to cosmetology school so she can support herself at 18), Kristina (my favorite--a very patient, beautiful young lady), Jessica(the sugar donut lover--haha) and Alexa(who talks like the girl in American Pie--'and one time at band camp'), in that order from oldest to youngest. The first pic is only Kaitlyn, Jessica and Alexa--Kristina is the young lady with the glasses.

Oh Xmas Tree The Parents Enjoyed Receiving

Yes we went to Jon's for Xmas. We all decided to have a different slant on the season by having Feliz Navidad. I cooked a taco salad-layered dip, Jon made enchiladas, Andrea made corn sweet cake, Jessica chopped up the stuff for salsa, mixed it, and Andrea did the taste/add ingredients test, Andrea also made the Margarita Punch (wow it was good), and Jason almost burned the kitchen down. From then on we kept him out of the kitchen. It was a great Xmas with a different slant! The kids did their shopping and we put cards on the tree (because I don't shop!). Eleven dogs, one cat, six humans---now there is a manger!!

Jason and Jon spent the next two days playing Play Station 3, while I retreated to the bedroom to read and the girls went after Xmas shopping with gift cards. Gary as usual was Ebaying on the computer or sleeping sitting up.

Enjoy the pics--I will be making another blog site for 2007 but I will have a link on this one on the right side under my pic. Hope everyone had a peaceful Xmas and a Happy New Year.

The Children Enjoy Xmas

Yep he's all "growed" up. They all had fun buying presents for each other. We gave cards and money.
